Passé is building a social archive for live experiences. This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when using our app and website.

- Pass import data, including `.pkpass` files and metadata extracted from them (for example event name, venue, date, and issuer fields).
- Verification data, such as cryptographic signature checks and issuer identity signals used to determine whether a pass appears authentic.
- Usage data, such as app activity, device information, and logs needed to operate and secure the service.
- If you choose to connect Gmail in the future, email metadata and content needed to locate and import Apple Wallet passes.
How We Use Information
- To operate Passé and provide pass import, organization, and social features.
- To verify pass authenticity and reduce fake or spoofed pass abuse.
- To improve product performance, reliability, and safety.
- To communicate with you about updates, support requests, and product changes.
Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us run Passé (for example hosting, storage, analytics, or email tools), and when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users and the service.
Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods may vary by data type and product stage.
Your Choices
- You can contact us to request deletion of your account and associated data.
- You can disconnect future integrations (such as Gmail) if enabled.
- You can choose what profile information and content you share publicly.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We continuously improve our safeguards as the product evolves.
